Tarot

Tried my hand at designing a companion card for my character on Dragon Age Inquisition that would follow the style of tarot cards on the game. My goal was to achieve a strong composition so most of the work was done at the very beginning.

Gravit practice

To get back to graphic designing I gave myself a challenge: design a business card and resume for a chef acquaintance using only resources that are free. Enter Gravit.io. It's like a limited browser-based Illustrator. For the resume I used Google Docs so that my customer could easily fill in his info himself. Making a neat layout in a word-processing app was difficult but proved the point I wanted to make with this exercise which is I don't need expensive programs to brush up on some design principles.
