This time I really tried to think about three-dimensional form and not use occasional lineart and stylistic choises as a crutch. It was difficult but fun.
Characters from The Casual Vacancy by J. K. Rowling. The book had vivid descriptions and I really needed to paint them before checking out the mini series (the book is better, as usual).

One of the last assignments we had when studying graphic design was designing a book cover for Dahl's book, including the illustration and text. I did some tweaks to the version I submitted and now I'm happy with the result.
