The film Kingsman: The Golden Circle introduced British and American secret agencies, Kingsman and Statesman. Outwardly they work as a tailor shop and a brewery. I wanted to have some fun and design the look for a Finnish alternative, their facade being a forest industry. The agents' codenames would be trees which would work well undercover because they are also normal Finnish surnames.
The logo has a hidden billhook in the letter J as a nod to the forest industry. The agents use billhooks, wire saws and chainsaws as weapons. I tried to make the logo of Tikkujätkät distinctive from their colleagues but still make them work as a matching set. Kingsman has a circular emblem, Statesman has a star, whereas Tikkujätkät sports a familiar diamond shape from Finnish salmiakki and Jussishirt.
